Check Your Eyesight

Before you start to learn to drive, ensure that you check your eyesight is suitable. You must be able to read a number plate in good daylight from 20.5 metres away.

If you wear glasses or contact lenses, always ensure that you wear them whilst you are driving.

First Lesson

On your first lesson you will need to bring with you both parts of your driving licence (PAPER & CARD), glasses you may need for vision and payment for the lesson.
